This is the summer holiday 2025 edition of activities for children in Chew Valley.
There are of course lots of other activities slightly further afield, but with so much on our doorstep it’s lovely to spend time locally too. There’s over 50 activities here, so plenty to keep you busy without even having to leave the valley!

Youth Theatre Summer Camp
Valley Arts fabulous “A Play in a Week” Youth Theatre Summer Camp is back! Taking place Monday 5th – Friday 9th August, 10am-4pm in Chew Magna.
Tis week-long holiday club is designed for young people aged 7 to 13, and is led by experienced writer and director Toby Hulse, of Roustabout Theatre.
Throughout the week they will learn a range of theatre skills, including improvisation, storytelling and devising, in order to create their own play from scratch, which they will then perform to an audience on the final day! Book online
EcoWild Summer Holiday Adventure Club
Nestled amongst the trees in Greyfield Woods, just a short hop from Chew Valley, EcoWild is running a fun filled holiday club in the woods for 5-11 year olds
A chance for children to explore, learn about wildlife and get inspired by the natural world. Expect games, nature art and crafts, cooking tasty snacks and making new friends in the shelter of the roundhouse! Book online
