  1. The Prince of Waterloo, Winford Newly improved children’s playground.
  2. The Bear & Swan, Chew Magna The pub has a heated marquee and a garden bar serving cool draught pints and great wines alongside woodfired sour dough pizzas.
  3. Ring O’ Bells, Compton Martin – The Ring O’ Bells is a traditional village pub full of charm and atmosphere, and a history dating back to the 16th century. There is a huge beer garden is perfect for al fresco drinking and dining, complete with a play area to keep the kids entertained
  4. Blue Bowl, West Harptree – The family run Blue Bowl Inn has a large garden with lots of seating and a small play area with lots for children to play on.
  5. Castle of Comfort, East Harptree – Play area perfect for children 13 and under. Combine with a hearty walk around Ubley Warren for a wholesome day out.
  6. Waldegrave Arms, East Harptree – Just a few minutes away from the pushchair friendly walk round East Harptree Woods to Smitham Chimney, Waldegrave Arms has a lovely garden with a play area for children.
  7. The Hunters Rest Inn, Clutton – Does Clutton count as Chew Valley? Regardless The Hunters Rest Inn is worth the visit one afternoon as it has a lovely play area with lots of different equipment.
